Waterless Magic Chicken Soup
15 mins prepServes 4
A flavorful 'waterless' chicken soup made by layering a whole chicken seasoned with adobo over a bed of napa cabbage, mustard greens, onion, apple, and ginger, cooked until tender in its own juices and finished with soy sauce and sesame oil.
Layer the napa cabbage, mustard greens, onion, apple, and fresh ginger in the bottom of a pot. Add 1 tablespoon of Better Than Bouillon over the veggies. Season the whole chicken generously with adobo, salt, and pepper. Place the seasoned chicken on top of the layered vegetables. Cover the pot and cook for 60-90 minutes without adding any water. Once cooked, garnish with fresh green onions. Finish the soup with 1-2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Serve hot, optionally with Fly By Jing noodles.
